About the role
Summer Associates join an engagement team in our Washington, D.C. office for the summer of 2027 and take on a defined piece of a live client engagement, across healthcare, technology and AI, legal, government, education and private enterprise.
What you will do
- Leading a defined workstream of a client engagement, with a consultant or engagement manager.
- Research, analysis and recommendations for clients.
- Drafting client deliverables and presenting findings.
- Supporting client meetings and community engagement in Pashto or Dari.
What you bring
- Enrolled in a master’s, MBA, JD or doctoral program at an accredited university, and returning to your studies after the internship.
- Proficiency in Pashto or Dari, and professional English.
- Authorized to work in the United States for the internship period.
- Available to work in person in Washington, D.C. from June to August 2027.
Preferred
- A strong academic record in any field.
- Professional experience before or during your graduate studies.
Pay and benefits
$30–$40 an hour. Before your first interview, we tell you whether health benefits come with this role. We never ask about your current or past pay.
